Tony Wilson PGA Professional

Hometown: Homestead, Florida

Born in Victorville, California (son of a USAF Fighter Pilot so no "real" hometown). I've been a Floridian since 1978 when father stationed @ Homestead Air Force Base. I am a graduate of The University of Florida w/bachelors in College of Architecture and I started my golf career at Sombrero Country Club in Marathon, FL in 1989. I came to The Villages from Hawk’s Landing Golf Club at Orlando World Center Marriott in February 2018.  My Seminole wife Missy & I have two sons Tyler and Chas (both Gators!!)

After becoming empty nesters, my wife Deborah and I moved to The Villages from the Nashville, TN area in 2006 to enjoy the lifestyle and activities that The Villages has to offer. Having spent 35+ years in operational and sales/marketing positions within the automotive and industrial industries, I was ready to pursue my real passion...golf, golf, and more golf. In 2016, I had the good fortune to expand my love of the game even further by becoming a team member at Cane Garden. We live in the Village of Pennecamp and enjoy what each new day here in The Villages brings.

Hometown: Centerville, MA

I first visited The Villages in 2015 with my wife Jocelyn and within 2 years we bought a house for our future retirement. After 30 years in the Financial Services Industry and many terrible New England winters we decided it was time to move here full time in 2020. I started at Cane Garden in various positions shortly after arriving and immediately appreciated the team atmosphere. I transitioned to the supervisor team in September 2022. When not playing golf you can find my wife and I walking our dogs around the Village of Gilchrist.

Jim McGrath Golf Staff Supervisor

Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio

I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio – graduated from John Carroll University. Retired from the Cleveland Fire Department after 35 years. Officiated football and umpired girls fast pitch softball both on the high school and college levels for 25 years. Married to my wife Barb for 39 years, we have two children. We relocated to The Villages In December of 2011.

Peggy Haines Golf Staff Supervisor

Hometown: Allentown, Pennsylvania

My husband Don and I moved to The Villages from Allentown, PA in 2010. We have 2 sons who are still in PA. Before retiring I spent 40 years working in engineering with Verizon. In 2012 I began working in the golf shop at Hacienda Hills and in 2015 moved to Cane Garden as the Tournament Liaison. I love to golf, play pickleball and enjoy the whole Villages lifestyle.

Larry Bazey Golf Staff Supervisor

Hometown: Maryland

My wife Rhonda and I moved to The Villages 8 years ago from Maryland. Our two daughters still reside there. I have been at Cane Garden for 4.5 years where I started as an inside sales associate, transitioned to a dual role both inside/outside and now serve as golf staff supervisor. I retired from teaching high school special education & also coached hs football & baseball. I love to play golf and we enjoy all The Villages has to offer.
